Oh yeah sorry, it was the conspiracy that done us out of it.

It didn't help.

I mean, we got to fourth playing hoofball all season to a decent striker who didn't pass to the opposition strikers, then Moyes tries to have us winning the passing against Villareal instead of doing what was effective.

Then Collina turned up and was gutted he didn't get to flex his buff neck muscles watching Yobo kicking pigeons all game so stuck it to us and out we went.

Oh I see, and do you reckon a return to hoofball is our way back on to the Champions League gravy train?

McGeady = not good enough
Naismith = more than good enough

What sort of Alice in Wonderland world have we fallen into?

I blame the dullard Sgt Major Moyes and his emphasis on perspiration and hatred of inspiration. His attitude still casts a long shadow over this club.
Yeah but Naismith would run through brick walls for us. He'd run all day long.

I bet he's still got one of those old TV's without a remote, just so he can get up and walk over to change the TV channel. Never stops working does the albino Messi.

I suppose it was the long shadow that got us to 11th this season.

Long shadow OUT

Simple rule of thumb:

One stepover/McGeady-turn magic is the equivalent to two seasons worth of plodding from the hapless fried Mars Bar munching Naismith.
I don't really get what any of this has to do with Naismith.

They're both crap, but at least one knows his limitations and contributes as best he can. The other doesn't even have it in him to get fit enough to make a nuisance of himself at a level which is far, far beyond his natural talent.
