Aiden McGeady

Id take literally anything for him.

Can see him and Mirallas going leaving Deulofeu and Pienaar + one top left winger being brought in with the money.

Hopefully Mirallas stays, as for McGeady

I hope he goes to Sunderland, that would be a good move for him. I have a soft spot for him, I saw him play for Celtic in the Champions League, he scored against Benfica. It is not his fault the media over hyped him, he was never as good as his reputation. Couple of seasons at Sunderland then back to Celtic to finish off and he will have had a very good career.

Our fans seem very harsh on Mcgeady. He was probably our most creative midfielder last season in terms of mins per assist. Plus we only have 3 proper wingers at the moment so I wouldn't be getting rid of him just yet.
They're largely the same fans who scream for the ball to be belted 70 yards down the field and fume at a string of passes being put together.

He'd be a huge letdown in this league. He wants way too much time on the ball to deliver and he has a serious lack of real pace. It would be a car crash of a signing.

Be content with getting this one right buddy

McGeady = not good enough
Naismith = more than good enough

What sort of Alice in Wonderland world have we fallen into?

I blame the dullard Sgt Major Moyes and his emphasis on perspiration and hatred of inspiration. His attitude still casts a long shadow over this club.

Thats not his attitude casting the shadow, it's the 4th place trophy he got, it casts a pretty big shadow.

Way bigger than the 72 points trophy, and the but we won the passing trophy put together.

McGeady is a winger that loses the ball over and over again, Naismith is a striker that scores goals.

1 is useful, the other 1 isnt.

1 was bought by Moyes, the other by El Fraudo, I mean how many useless players does that man have to sign for you to understand?

That's not what the stats say. Now if you want to talk about lost possession look no further than that Bucky-swiggin' albino, Naigood.

I'll say, it's been ten effing years and it's still talked about it. You'd swear we made it into the Champions League or something.

We would have done if we'd hoofed a little bit more against Villareal.

Moyes tried to play a more continental passing game in that tie and UEFA realised they didn't want any of that in their premier European competition, and the rest is history.

There's more to being a good footballer than having poor workrate.
