He could prob do with a lift, cos like on the pitch he wont find where he’s going! the thing is he’s got the speed, he’s even got bit of skill in that locker, the thing is he still running round like a headless chicken, the lad still hasnt matured as a footballer after enough years of playing, atleast 2 mistakes for every pass he makes!! i dont hate the lad but if it free’s up a space for a good signing then what r we waiting for!!!!

Naismith does that thing where he puts the ball between the two sticks, whilst covering tons of ground and occasionally popcorning the opposition players.

What does McGeady do?
Is that what you see when you watch Naismith?

I see a clueless face gurning fraud who can't make a successful pass to his own team mates.

He's League One class.

Disappointed that he's leaving tbh

Martinez has handled him pretty badly in all honestly
Agreed. He was way too quick to sub him in matches. I think his confidence was knocked with it.

I absolutely despair when I read Everton supporters calling McGeady rubbish when anyone can see he has a lot of talent, and then they post stuff about that numb nuts Naismith in a positive light.

No wonder we've gone 20 years without a trophy when utter turd like Naismith is given respectability. He's one of the worst players I've ever seen in an Everton shirt. An absolute phony masquerading as a PL player.

Of all the things Naismith is David, that certainly isn't one.

McGeady has been there in bits and pieces but never for long enough to get going.
I've been very frustrated by his ability to make the hard stuff look easy, only to gaff a simple 5 yard pass.

He's very much a confidence player as well, and when people get on his and the teams back from early on, he hasn't performed.

I'm really caught up in two minds as to whether we keep him or not. There's a player in there somewhere, but if we can bring in Mertens or Shaqiri or someone of that ilk i'd happily see him moved on.

To be honest Naismith does cock up 5 yard passes even more often than McGeady, like.

And seems to be unable to control a simple ball as they bounce off him more than they do off Lukaku.

He still finds himself scoring goals though, which is remarkable in its own right, but we can't afford to have him in the squad unless the team plays for him and hopes that he scores without touching the ball in the buildup.

Anyway, McGeadz - decent player, but you summed him up there in one sentence. It's not like we didn't already know that, but that's that. Sad to see him go, as I just like the guy, but he's really frustrating to watch at times. Defo a player in there though...

He has his faults but he isn't that Dave, even you during the dark days of Christmas/New Year were pointing out he was one of the few who played for the shirt.

If he is used in the correct way he can be very useful to the squad - despite his size he is probably our best player in the air, at least from our attackers, and has a knack of scoring goals in big games.

Sell while we can sorry best market value we will ever get now especially if he's not starting next season caus we bought better players ... 1st post pissed hope no one noticed

Considering his size it's astonishing !!!. Lukaku could learn alot from count naisy in that department. I really like Naismith, top top lad...knows where the goal is, runs till he drops and appears a real fighter...has a wee drop of small man syndrome too. Now if only he could actually play football he would be world class. * edit * that was a tad harsh, I am one of Naismiths biggest fans, I just love to see a player literally dying for the cause, He's more important to us as a pitbull kind of player, players generally look concerned when hes barking and running round them.
