Aiden McGeady

Jelavic fetched £7.5M and was from that league, and he IS appalling.

McGeady should land Everton £5/6M no problem.
Jelavic's mad purple patch at Everton will set him up for life, and his overall Premier League record probably looks OK to clubs down at the bottom.

If McGeady had anything at all to offer clubs in this division, then he wouldn't be on his way back to Scotland for whatever meagre fee Everton can get.

He won't be going anywhere for £1m. That's a BS story. I'll be happy to keep him as a sub. If that's not in the plans then he's going to cost some other club minimum £4m.

We'd be stupid to let him go for 1m I get he's far from a star but we're not going to be able to sign a replacement any better at all for 1m, a loanee would probably cost more than that.

Yeah but IF we have a few other players lined up, its best to get him off the wage bill and save us around 8m in wages.

For sure mate but he is worth more than 1m though and we should try and get what he is worth if he was to go. I'd feel 2.5m-4m would be a fair evaluation.

I seriously do not think Aiden would let the details of his possible 1 mio quid transfer be allowed press release. This transfer will be done very clandestinely...and for a lot less

Considering how highly martinez rates / rated mcgeady...i would be massively suprised he would be going anywhere. He was chasing his signature for aaaages cant see him getting rid.....period !!
I'm suprised he's as hated as he is, Yes he over plays 80 % of the time but he has shown glimpses of absolute class too. He was unfit the first season, unluckily injured for large parts too, last. I say with a propper preseason under his belt, less guiness, chickens in baskets...he would be a good squad player to have.
