Which is where the problem lies. People were talking about the credible Coleman leaving rumour, which led onto discussing Hibbert as he is our other right back.

Surely still on topic?

I don't really get it to be honest.
Yeah but it wasn't about Tony Hibbert as his role as a back up, it was more people having a go as per the norms and ranting and raving about paying him 25k a week e.t.c. and talking about him and coaching as a future career.

Which is all well and good to discuss but really should be in the Hibbert thread.

It started with Coleman though didn't it?

Not sure if anyone has suggested this

But for the serious thread, how about the mods lock the thread and whenever a serious link or source appears, they unlock it, post it, and lock it again. The thread would then just contain links/sources for people to read.

The other thread could be for the discussion of them links + any other crap people want to post.

That might seem confusing but personally it would be easier to go through the links if I have a spare 5 mins, then if I have a spare 20 I can go into the discussion thread. Probably easier for the lurkers aswell.

tbh i vote 2.

makes sense, click one link for actual stories people link and click the other to write 'i think we should sign'.

All the stuff is a load of arl crap and nothing but rumours until there is breaking news from our club. If i wanted to look at Everton rumours and news i will google it myself.
