Just found this. Hard to get a great read of his football ability, but it's pretty clear he's an exceptional athlete, both in terms of pace and agility.

(The video quality improves as you get in a minute or two.)

First time I've seen any vid of him at length...be interested to know who his influences are; one sprang to mind almost instantly.

He's selfish and wasteful at times, but he looks really talented. He's full of pace, energy and he loves being at the club, if his Twitter feed is anything to go by. I'm glad Martinez is pulling the trigger on this one.

.....I have said it before but it is so much more difficult for forward players to break through, the physical and skill set requirements aligned with an eye for goal means they have to be a little bit special. It's the reason they cost more money. This lad seems to have a bit about him and has clearly impressed the coaches and settled in well. Be interesting to see where he sits in the pecking order, could have vaulted Long and McAleney.

That video shows him as a Mirallas type player, which is what we need. Isnt scared to take players on, got quick feet, looks rapid and scores the odd goal. Happy with signing him, look forward to seeing how he develops.

Id take Henan over Lallana any day of the week.

YOu can talk about all the team players you want and we have more than our fair share of them. but sometimes you need a match winner on the pitch, someone to create or score out of nothing to win games. If this lad is anywhere near what he is talked about then id love to invest our time into him and hope for a new star of the team. Worst case scenario is that he doesn't make it but we haven't spent millions on him to find that out so it is all positive in my eyes

so Henen deal seems official, im happy he is choosing to stay.

any idea if he will be in & around the first team squad?

You think you people would learn after all the hyping up you did of George Green.

Just leave him to develop in the under 21's would be the sensible thing to do.

But, no doubt people will start doing formations for the 16/17 season with him in the team.

Get a grip, you know who you are.

I get what you mean, and agree - let the lad develop at his own pace, it's done Brendan Galloway no harm.

Henen's case appears to be a case of an agent acting for the good of the player, not just a quick quid.

Calm down.
