He's not the finished product yet, has bloody awful hair, and I'm not sure Chelsea will loan us another player after Atsu, but if they want to loan him to a team for a bit of Prem experience then yeah.

Spoke to a couple of boro ST holders on holiday. Asked them about Bamford. They were very complimentary about him said he could easily make the step up to the premiership. They said everton could do worse then take him if boro didn't go up (which they didn't). Interestingly the only other quality player ready made for the premiership was Gibson their centre half they said.

Didn't realise that. Would be good to sign him to pair him with stones at club level. However I think Roberto is more interested in an more experienced defender as cover and of course we have Galloway waiting in the wings.

Went to Oakwell on Thursday and he actually plays extremely similar to Jags - uncanny actually.

You can "sigh" as much as you want, the fact remains that if the manager did not have faith in his goalkeepers it would be the very first position strengthened.
There is no position more important.
You obviously are not happy with the goalkeepers, the manager obviously is.

The point am getting across is that when on a budget you can't buy players in every position you want to no matter how much you want to. prioritys must take place unfortunately. If martinez didn't want to bring in a new keeper why were we after one in January?

goal keeper is not the most important position on the pitch imo. goals win games not clean sheets.

oh and @the sniderman if your going to do some damage at least do something I can feel. at the minute your like a fly buzzing around my head while am trying to talk to me mate in the pub.
