I think if we do sign him it'll be on loan, Wenger was willing to loan him out to AC Milan recently but said he (Senderos) has a number of options.

If we continue to pick up these loans we might be able to blow our budget on a Moutinho or a Defour, you never know. That'd probably be the best way to go if we are not going to sell the big man from Brum.

Seems the sensible way IMO.

League kicks off in 14 days so getting rid of Big JoLo this late and scrambling around for deals would be insane.

A loan with an option to buy next summer, much like his deal with Milan last season, would be good. Would give us a season to see how he fit into the squad.

That won't happen unless he sign an extension to his contract, as it would end next summer, so Arsenal would want to do a permanent deal instead of a loan deal.

They just lost toure as well so don't know how keen they would be to sell. They did pick up that belgium cb though. Name escapes me.

Ah, didn't know that. But then we should be able to grab him for something around £4-5M since he has such a short contract. Not bad either.

I didn't know that either until I saw the recent article saying he only have a year to run on his contract, let's hope we could get him he would be a perfect back-up to our CB.

Top team should have two pair of CB and with Yobo off to Afican Nation Cup in Jan-Feb, we could do with another CB around to help out.

Richard Dunne / Nedum Onuoha anyone?

Habib Beye or Ryan Taylor to solve RB situation

Steve Taylor, Robert Huth or David Wheater could be good with a bit of Moyes coaching

Shouldnt cost too much as they are from teams that have been relegated

the lad from nufc i rate him good player

Arsenal are such a fragile team they need at least a squad of 24 players as half of their squad always ends up injured until March. So if they sell a player he will rather end up injured or on the bench because of a poor performance, I remeber well when Ljungberg joined West Ham and was described what was a top transfer, in reality he spent more time on West Hams bench injured, when he played he was piss poor and booed by the fans.

So hopefully Senderos won't proof to fullfil my prejudice .....:(
