Christian Atsu

Not sure size really matters mate. David Silva is tiny and he's boss.
Silva relies on skill to drible around players where as Atsu relies on speed to get past players but because of his tiny frame as soon as a defender pushes onto him he can't use that speed. His speed is his main strength from what I seen.

Obviously his all round game needs a lot of work but it because of his frame that stopes him from been able to use his speed in the Prem like he did in the AFCON.

I wasn't meaning all small players are bad, if you look back at my posts I always backed the guy but he just couldn't ever have a real impact on a game.

Bournemouth are going to end up stacked with loans and Bosmans aren't they? Excited to see what they make of the Premier League tbh.

I quite liked the look of this Eddie Howe - good young manager, boyhood blue and that.

And then he started raving over Atsu.

Oh dear.

He didn't get enough game time. So we don't know if he's good enough.

To be not getting a game after the season we've just had when McGeady got plenty of game time shows he obviously wasn't good enough.

The coaching staff saw him play regularly enough in training and we saw nothing during his limited time on the pitch to suggest they were wrong in my opinion.

Didn't play much under Roberto and we'll probably will never know why. He seemed to have ability and you would assume if Roberto wanted to bring him to the club then he would have been keen to play him a lot more. Falling out?

Atsu doesn't seem like the type of guy you could fall out with even if you tried really, really hard.

Btw here was his goodbye msg

“I’m sorry that things didn’t work out for me.” Said the winger via his Twitter account.

“ I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Everton for making me feel welcome during my time there this past season.

“The fans, the staff and my teammates have all been very supportive. But now I must look forward and am keen to take the next step in my football career. God bless everyone.”
