Option 2 is the only real option. If we're hanging around 12th - 14th place by that time like we were this year, and still playing the most pointless brand of football known to man and not looking like approaching the goal area at any point in 90 minutes, that's got to be looked at

I'm willing to give him another chance but if things have gone to hell by Christmas, then it's time for him to leave. We can't afford another crap season and I really hope this one has been a wake-up call.

And I wish he'd get over his Barry obsession.

A very good season followed by a poor one. Is that reason enough to sack him now? I don't think so.

I think some people's opinions are over the top, he's a fraud, lost the dressing room etc. I agree he has been found out to an extent, so now it's up to him to put in the work over the summer and come up with something new.

Broadly speaking, there are 2 ways to get relative success. Chop and change managers when things get rocky and throw money around, or keep your manager and keep things stable. We can't really afford to pay off our management staffs contracts, pay the compensation to get new management in and then give the new manager a ton of cash to spend. We are obviously the latter. Martinez already has some very good players, now he needs to add intelligently and get us off to a flyer next season. If we're going backwards by Christmas then I think it will be time to seriously consider a change, he will have had time.

My view stays the same

If we sack him, whoever we get is a gamble as we are not a club that has vast amounts of riches to rebuild ever time we change managers.
As with Moyes give the man a chance, if people are expecting top 4 finishes and silverware each year...time to rethink who you want to support.

Are best chance is to give the manager time to build and then we may have a slim chance of top 4

As ever people calling for his head are the people who never wanted him

Are you for real?!

To win the FA Cup or League Cup you just have to win 6 games in a row, not exactly a terribly large challenge especially when 3/4s of the PL can't be bothered with them.

Out now before the muppet loses Stones, McCarthy or Coleman, like he's lost Garbutt. He's stubborn, lost the dressing room and overrated. He was lucky last year building on a solid team, this years shown his true place. If we loose another 6 places next year we're going the same place as Wigan.

You can't put the potential loss of Garbutt in the same bracket as Stones, McCarthy and Coleman.

Those three are our top men in their positions and would be very hard to replace.

Garbutt is our third best left back......at best.

Galloway looks like he could challenge Luke for third best left back.

Let's keep it in perspective.

I feel your pain. The poll will have no influence on what happens, but the old one was very binary and a fair few people will have voted straight after a result.

There will be people who want him out now and there'll be others who think he's the new messiah, but, in reality, most people are somewhere in the middle, and In / Out polls don't reflect that.

I wish there had have been an option for sometime around two months or so into the season, Wooly.

I reckon that woukd gave attracted a big vote.

Watched his MOTD interview yesterday, he stated that the first 2 games took the stuffing out of us.

Both games we were winning and conceded very late goals, we then got utterly took apart by Chelsea and coupled with the loss of Barkley it took us a VERY long time to recover, which is a worry IMO.

It is pure twonk innit.

So this awful season was all because we didn't win our first two games.

Lucky for Leicester they didn't let the first thirty games ruin their season :(
