This thread is weird! With no real news on the subject people have been making the same points over and over for about 6 months. Every page is basically the same.
 


And I've read on Twitter that he's so far up his own backside it's unbelievable.

You have to take these things with a pinch of salt - only he knows what he'll do. It's all conjecture.


Some guy on another forum reckons he is off to Bornemouth with Distn.


Well the ever reliable John Merro :oops: reckons Garbutt hasn't got any serious interest in him and will only have the option of signing back on with us for a few more years.
 
Sign a 3 year deal, and go out on loan for 2 years in a row. Then come back and stake your claim. He'd be getting first team footy all year, but he wouldn't have to actually play for a poo team like Bournemouth in the long run.

That makes so much sense.
But then - there are agents to consider.
One more injury to Baines and he could be first choice left back for the greatest team he's ever going to play for.
We need to consider being able to call him back if he goes out on loan.
