Elm has less than a year remaining on his contract doesn't he?

He came for talks - would be very surprised if he left without any agreement. I would like to think that we have let him play in that match and have arranged him to fill one of the two extra places in America.

Would be delighted with that mate.

Just got back from work, was hoping to watch this game but oh well. Can anyone tell me who watched the game what position he played in tonights match, and what sort of player he appears to be. Is he a quick tricky winger or a creative player who dictates the play? Can he tackle/header etc. Who would you compare him to if you had to?

I really hope so. Didn't his agent recently say something along the lines of he expects something to be done within the next few weeks? I want Elm now!

If we sign him, I would personally purchase the hideous pink shirt and have Elm (7?) on the back!

Very Carrick-esque

That throw hes got is like a bullet. Delap eat your heart out.

He seems to have it all - free kicks, pens, throws, composure on the ball, good range of passing. Just what we need in the midfield.

But we wont sign him of course. Thats a given. Great prospect tho.

I was hoping that myself. Moyes would have known he would be in the shop window in that game, so hopefully he got the deal done before he played.
Still, the way things are going, i dont hold out much hope to be honest. :(

Agree 100%, fantastic passing ability. Can see him adapting to the prem easily enough. Stuck out like a sore thumb in the match. He's over on the right hand side but floats round a bit so shouldn't get in the way of Peanuts. IF we sign him, would need a Baines-esque RB (Naughton!!!) to compliment him.

Played all across the midfield, But for the majority of the game he was playing left midfield. He's tall and athletic (I think he's 6"2). Very good with both feet and has a lovely first touch, rarely concedes possesion and has beckham'esque passes in his locker. He would create a shed load of goals for the Yak on the right on that performance. But in saying that he scored 2 himself albeit 1 from the penalty spot but he has an eye for a goal and knows how to strike a ball. I would proberly compare him to...a rich mans Osman. A definite upgrade on Osman but you have to remember this game was against Debrecen! Although I have no doubt he would have no problem in the prem.

Oh yeah and by the way, he has a throw like Delap (y)

I think whatever team he signs for, he wouldnt have signed anything or said anything before tonights game. He would have wanted to do his best to get his team through to the Champions League.

Im hoping he gave a verbal agreement that he would sign after the game, which would tie in with his agents comments that his future would be sorted within the next fortnight.

But weve seen what verbal agreements have done for us before - two words. Manuel Fernandes.

Add Sheffield United to that list. We've got Jags from them and Tevez ruined their Premier League status. I was on their side until today.

just showed a kopite mate his vid on utube and he wasn't impressed "it's only a 2 minute video" my reply...."it's 2 minutes longer than vorinin's and not half as brutal as gerrard's in his trial for southport thugs fc." they're so jealous that fat Rafael didn't spot this boy that they can't admit he's good. we need to sign this lad right away and hope he scores 3 in the derby so i can piss all over me mate!!!

Theyve had Naysmith and Beattie from us recently and I dont remember us dicking about when it came to them signing players from us. Pricks.

Go Moysie/Bill blow them cobwebs off the cheque book an buy this lad.....Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
