Player Valuation: £10m
I'm thinking more Pat Van den Hauwe...
So we'd only win the league twice and the Europa.

I'm thinking more Pat Van den Hauwe...
He's just drumming interest up for himself, which is all these players do when they say "oh, Everton are interested". He wont sign and will be at Hamburg or somewhere else in Europe.
No he is as unspectacular as you can get, he will be like Carsley, but worse at passing and with no pace to his game. I have always wondered how he got to play at the clubs he has. Stay clear of him - potential KroldrupI woould forget Cana and go for Christian Poulsan available from Juventus for a repoted snip of 4 mill:
A number of top Premier League clubs are targeting defensive midfield enforcers this summer and an extremely cheap alternative is readily available, that player would be the Danish hardman Christian Poulsen up for grabs for just £4m. The player’s agent Jorn Bonnesen has revealed he expects the player move on from Juventus when he told Ekstra Bladet, “Now there are even more players on their way in (Melo), it is possible that Christian could be one of the players Juventus wish to sell.
“They have said that before, but that is not the same as Christian Poulsen is definitely moving.”
The Juventus midfielder has suffered from a poor first season in Serie A where he has failed to establish himself as a fixture in the first eleven and the club are trying to offload him with Schalke, Hamburg, Villarreal and Turkish side Fenerbahce showing a strong interest. The Dane has continued to declare he is happy to stay with his present club but he may not have a choice as he has not enjoyed the best of times since joining the Turin giants last summer amidst protests from the clubs fans. He is also one of the club’s high earners so new Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara may want to offload the midfield man to lower the wage bill.
Poulsen has shown an admirable quality of wanting to prove himself in Italy. He told Corriere dello Sport, “I have nothing to say, I am here, ready to begin the new season with Juventus.”
“I don’t see what the problem is - I have three more years on my contract. My agent deals with this kind of stuff, but I am a Juve player at the moment and I am happy to stay.
“I trained hard during the holidays in order to be ready. I have great motivation to have a great season in Italy.”
“I am pleased that Schalke, like other clubs, are interested in me,” he noted.
“But, as I said, I am only focused on Juve. I feel good and I want to make myself available to the coach. If I have a chance, I will try and convince [Ciro] Ferrara.”
There’s no doubting the Danish international’s pedigree after an impressive career which has now spanned four countries. However, Poulsen only made 23 league appearances last season (14 starts) and has not had the impact he was hoping for in Serie A.
Poulsen faced a difficult start to his Juventus career after his own fans displayed a banner that branded the midfielder ‘rubbish’ at the club’s pre-season training camp in Pinzolo. Much of this ill-feeling towards the Dane is due not only to his high wages which are only surpassed by Buffon, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Amauri and Nedved but also due to past incidents with Italian players and clubs.
Better than one player known only as MF!
