Mirallas wants CL so he will be off unless we let him run his contract down which would be madness.

City will be sniffing around Barkley this summer trying to get him on the cheap as he has had a meh season.

United may come in for Coleman.

That's only for starters.

And with the best will in the world, we've done well in the EL but we ain't winning it.
Jeez mate, you really are suffering cricket withdrawal symptoms! lol

Martinez is worried that rumours that he cannot manage a defence will stick, so he has coached Coleman and Baines to hold back, so that they are on hand to support Jagielka and Stones. On no account must they take the ball to the bye-line, like they were doing when we were good. This tactic will ensure that the goals-conceded statistics show an improvement over the second half of the season, which can go on the idiot's c.v. He's off, no doubt now.

You know that time Gibson floated an exquisite ball into the box with the outside of his boot?

It was brought down and laid off to Kone by the man we had furthest forward and the only Everton player in the box.

Kone's rasping shot was well saved by the goalie.

Was Baines ignoring his manager's instructions to "hold back" at that stage?

Jesus, Ed, you are on a downer tonight, boyo.

You budgie die ior sommat :p

No just preparing myself for the reality that we will lose some players as a result of this terrible season.

The only one leaving will be Mirallas.

And frankly, that bugger can't leave quickly enough for my liking.

And don't fret about Seamus going to United.

Van Gaal is after Kyle Walker for the right back berth.

Anybody else think he's lost a touch of his pace since the hamstring injury? He's no slouch like, but he doesn't seem quite as quick as he used to.

Feel free to tell me I'm wrong like, as I might well be :P

Why not enjoy things for 24 hours mate and worry about it later in the week if not the end of the season? They aren't going anywhere until the summer and there is nothing we can do about it anyhow.

Hope springs eternal as well, maybe we get in someone boss or a youth player makes it into the squad because of the gap.

Don't think it was his hamstring that has caused the problem, he's had those before and been fine. But he had to have stitches in his achilles tendon and to my eyes he hasn't seemed quite right since. Appears to take a while to "warm up", better in the second half of matches rather than the first.

Might just be the team tbh. Seamus is often a confidence/momentum player, so when things start going - they go his way. A few wrong passes, etc, and he just looks scared. We start games as slow as possible for some reason, and then look better/fired up in the second half, bet it has more to do with that.

If it does, credit to Roberto for squeezing it out of them in the second halves, but we should really look into doing that "winning from early" thing, imo...
