Martinez is worried that rumours that he cannot manage a defence will stick, so he has coached Coleman and Baines to hold back, so that they are on hand to support Jagielka and Stones. On no account must they take the ball to the bye-line, like they were doing when we were good. This tactic will ensure that the goals-conceded statistics show an improvement over the second half of the season, which can go on the idiot's c.v. He's off, no doubt now.

Said ages ago that with regard to him and Baines I reckoned they were under instructions from the manager to hold back. As for Coleman if he did go it would leave us with no right back, we have no one who could do as good a job as him.

Errr... I meant Martinez is off, not Coleman! However, you may be right anyway. If so, I reckon Browning can step up to the plate.

Can see McCarthy, Stones, Mirallas, Coleman and even Barkley taking up vast pages in the Papers from around June.

Think we will lose 2 from that list personally.
Can see McCarthy staying. Stones is likely to stay, at least a bit longer. Not sure about Coleman but I think his currency has dipped a tad. Mirallas is gone IMHO.

Am i the only one who feels that Coleman is not effective at all yesterday?
Tries to get past too many defenders when a simple cross is needed, link up play poor and he just looks frustrated with himself.

He is a shadow of last years player. But I am a believer in the 'form is temporary, class is permanent' phrase (albeits clichéd overuse)

Not after we win the EL

Mirallas wants CL so he will be off unless we let him run his contract down which would be madness.

City will be sniffing around Barkley this summer trying to get him on the cheap as he has had a meh season.

United may come in for Coleman.

That's only for starters.

And with the best will in the world, we've done well in the EL but we ain't winning it.
