My all time fav writer, the night watch books were absolutely brill with ,Vimes, Carrot and the rest, remember in one book Carrot had to referee a footy match with like 4,000 aside, think it was Mort but not sure. You know now why I picked my user name.

Best comic author of all time, reading his books to my children helped to inspire both of them to become avid readers. A sad loss not just to the literary world but to humanity itself.

RIP.

Brilliant author, who did something few other did. He created and maintained his own world with no conflicts or continuity issues. Most authors only give you a slice of a world, not the whole thing.

My favorite is the first one I read, Thud! It got me into the series. I still haven't read them all, but have been slowly making my way through.

Small gods was my fave, but I never read a discworld novel I didn't enjoy.

This all day long. Each time I found a new one at the library it was like finding a gold nugget.

but having a large distrust of monied vested interests, of which large publishers are just one, I am waiting for them to 'find', 'finally release', 'discover' - or otherwise come up by some semi plausible method unfinished stories or plot outlines
4yrs max
