One of the main problems I have is that we really don't have many hard luck stories. We have got exactly what we deserve in pretty much every defeat, be it lack of fitness or error. We have one way of playing and its [Poor language removed] and predictable. The guy cannot change. So we must make the change before its too late.

We did earlier in the season. Lots of red cards missed, deflected goals, bad injuries, opposition keepers having blinders etc. Not so much now, but a few months ago as we were starting to slide down the rabbit hole all sorts we're going wrong.

That's another thing I've noticed on reflection, last season we got a lot of results thanks to a late free kick or screamer. Maybe it was luck then, or maybe just the power of confidence but we got out of plenty of jams with moments of brilliance that haven't been replcated this season.

In reality the polls mean very little. Out of 26,000 members only eight hundred and odd could be bothered to vote. Apathy rules..
Gallup only survey a handful of voters compared to the size of the electorate yet they're usually accurate. The TW poll has an extra category and 25% are undecided whereas only 9% want him to stay: it's obvious now that the majority of Evertonians place their club above one man and his sham philosophy.

Oddly enough, I think we have had loads of hard luck stories.

This season has been cursed since the moment, forty eight hours before a ball was kicked, our poster boy was injured and would miss the first three months of the campaign.

I'd take a gamble and stay with Martinez. He had great first season. More importantly, look at when Moyes finished 17th, the next year Everton finished 4th. Look at when Howard Kendall nearly got us relegated.

Managers and teams can come back fighting after a bad season.

Peter Reid took over Leeds with a handful of games to go; they were relegation candidates but he helped to save them, even winning at Highbury I think on the last day of the season! It can be done, but will the Boys-pen-ballbag do the honourable thing?

How about Martinez's first go at getting Wigan relegated?

Took him a couple of goes but he got there eventually, the scamp

I agree we have got what we deserved in the games we lost but there has been moments that blinded us to how bad we are. Such as nearly getting something at Old Trafford if it wasn't for a world class save and a collectors item missed Baines pen. Man City not getting a red for a kung fu kick, chances are we would of lost anyway but the mistake from the ref took our attention away from not being very good. Honorable defeats at Chelsea, personal errors at Spurs...etc we kept telling ourselves we just need a bit of luck to kick start the season but it never came, and never will.

It sure would have been taxi, if John Moores was the chairman.

yes but in which division ?

So using this poll as a yardstick, 2/3 of the fan base want him out.

He has to start performing miracles to turn that around. Don't think the future looks bright for him unless he by some freak of nature wins the EL.

His only saving gracesare that Bill is a soft arse, probably won't want to pay him compo and will never listen to the fans anyway.
