Do you mean prior to another HANDS-UP performance at STOKE? Maybe not, maybe that game was many peoples final straw variation eh...

Yep Stoke for me was enough and bearing in mind how many games are left and I've taken that into account. The pathetic performance from the players on Wednesday, lacking in everything I expect, no I demand in an Everton side of this quality and not delivering anything but another million questions tipped me over the edge. Doesn't mean I won't be there on Thursday to probably watch us play like Brazil 1970 for some reason lol

....ditto mate, and I genuinely feel that applies to a LOT of former supporters of him, the feeling gleaned from the other night, the questioning that came from it 'Can this go on?' kinda jazz...

Again though, it's about foresight innits; y'know what you're getting with STOKE, or you should, particularly in our position...

...tragically though you know EXACTLY what you're getting with EVERTON these days, moreso and it seems it's WAY easier to combat.

Unfortunately so mate. We just seem soft. Next week, new game, new battle, will stick with the lads and roar them on and will still support Martinez if he's lasted.up until next Thursday because for those 90 minutes it's the result what matters. The aftermath is where we can pick the bones of what went right or wrong. A lot is going wrong atm and if that replicates into the EL then the last bit of goodwill will be gone imo

Correct Frank. It may come to the point that while they are out there on the pitch they will need every fan's support to get them over the line, as happened in previous relegation battles. The time for the inquest and recrimination is afterwards. We are going to crawl over that 'mathematical safety' line I think but we will get there. Then the post-mortem can begin and in all likelihood it will involve a change of manager.

They will get the fans support as.well mate as you know. Yes there can be tempers frayed and boos, that's what happens when you play for a huge club like ours and if you ain't ready for that then you ain't ready to play for Everton football club. Passion, effort, belief, desire goes a long way in keeping fans onside, all 4 major things that have been severely lacking. EL night, 2 games from a QF the fans will back players and manager. Time for them to pay the compliment back because the constant sound bites of "we need to stick together" is a load of shyte. Fans turning out in numbers show all of us are in it for the long haul and going nowhere, maybe the players and management need to look at themselves and learn how to "stick together"

Appreciate your post and the right call to the fans. Have to say it was always my belief we would not be relegated but if the club crawls over the safety line it will not herald a change of manager but an impetus to stay with RM and give him more time.

You think so ? I'd say if we come close to relegation it might cause a re-think amongst the powers that be. If they back him they will have to give him the summer transfer kitty otherwise his position would be untenable... could be massively wrong though.

In reality the polls mean very little. Out of 26,000 members only eight hundred and odd could be bothered to vote. Apathy rules..
Don't forget to factor in "GoT Poll Fatigue" in your equation!

I think relegation would be the only thing that would make the Board look seriously at this. They only hold onto their shares for the massive payday that they believe is coming. I've never doubted Bills love for the club but relegation & a de-valuing of the club will have them grasping for any offers...IMHO.

Ive had an epiphany.

Its time we stood together as a fanbase, forget the he said, she said bullsh, theres 11 players who need our support a week Sunday, lets not spend that time fighting, lets spend that time coming together as a fanbase, becoming as 1! We all share the 1 goal and thats to see Everton win.

Positive thinking will win this day.

Perhaps that's what's needed mate, deffo, it's the tie that binds after all...

Perhaps we should all buy a CHORIZO to waft at the game?

They were BOGOF at the Sainsbury last week.

Pardon?

This isnt a food based thread, nor is it a Managerial discussion thread anymore, im re-claiming the thread, for my people, my people are us all, you, me, even them, we must destroy the evil that lies beneath, we must RISE.
