He's calling you a kopite, mate.
This Moyes had us playing "Anti football" is a total myth

Could have gone the rest of my life without knowing that.Just gonna take a crap
We are good enough for a Barca style of play. We showed that last season and we've shown it in Europe.
As for your example, Spurs and Liverpool.
...even though the vast majority rejected those hoofball tactics? You think we'd all swing back toward a more agricultural approach if Martinez left?
Myth?
We were known up and down the land for it. We were labelled (possibly a bit too easily) as a direct team - which is their polite way of saying hoofball.
A handful of times they played well, usually when there was nothing at stake because Moyes would bottle it otherwise.
It'd take an awful lot to rehabilitate Moyes and repackage him as a football manager of any note.
Your right, they did label us hoofball.
Steven Gerrard said.
"I thought we stood up to a team that are very similar to Stoke. Every single time they get the ball at the goalkeeper it comes in long."
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers suggested something similar when explaining how Everton's "long, direct pressure" had prompted his decision to send on a third centre-back, the 6ft 5in Sebastian Coates, at half-time.
Nice company you have there David.

It wasn't just them though. They were on the wind up, but 99% of pundits called it right: "Everton are direct".
It was what it was...direct up and under footy allied to a Pienaar/Baines attack on the ground.
Utterly predictable and turgid most of the time.
Anyone who thinks Moyes was hoofball is too wrapped up in some kind of agenda and only seeing what they want to.
The football last season was excellent, but for entertainment value it was no better than what we'd seen the year before.
Liverpool and Spurs are in the bracket above us IMO. More to spend on transfers in the positions you need to have top class talent if this brand of football is to work on a consistent basis.
