Boss season

Let's get safe

7th place trophy

Come on now, dont be bitter about this. We've had a decent night, dont spoil it. Of course we need to take care of our own business, but please dont piss on our chips after what's happened tonight. Small comforts and all that.

Looking at the table, it looks like we're in a relegation battle. Yes we are 6 points ahead of QPR in 18th but they have a game in hand and we go there soon, so it can turn round quickly. I'd like a bit more breathing space tbh so can we have a win tomorrow please?

No, no, no...I'm 'making that out' because the results have gone well for us, not bad for us.

I think now it's abundantly obvious to everyone after a set of positive results like what where you and the rest of your ilk are up to.

Pretty sad, tbh.
Can't see people wanting us to stay where we are just so they can continue their agenda against the manager, that can continue in the summer when the dust settles on a tragic domestic campaign however like you davek I think tonight's results were excellent for everton fc and hopefully tomorrow we can stick some real daylight between ourselves and the dregs of the premier league

oh yea, that'll be certain but the next 6 points will further us away from the bottom 6. It takes the pressure off. I done one of those sports predictor things and I predicted Everton to lose tomorrow and against Newcastle with wins coming at West Ham, Burnley and draws at Villa, Swansea, a few more losses on the way and another win, I had us finishing 11th

I dont think you'll be too far out on that. ;)

It's a crap and worrying season, but why do people think that sides that have averaged far less than a point per game for 27 games are suddenly going to get 15/18 points from 11, but that we won't?

Because there idiots

Take a look at our last 7 games and the bottom 5 teams

Draws against City/Liverpool/wba and Leicester and a win against Palace

Not great by any means but we have only failed to Take points of two of the top three

I know I keep saying it but a win tomorrow really does change things, I've also said on numerous occasions that games are a must win but I want to emphasise it tomorrow, this really is a must must must win

Fair comment mate. You must understand that the people I'm referring to here are about 4 in number. Long standing, hard core agitators against the manager. Certainly not the vast majority who feel they want managerial change.
