Obviously these prediction things never work and this will be nowhere near right, just approximating a points tally on our current form I would say:

Stoke A - 1 point
Newcastle H - 3 points
QPR A - 1 point
Southampton H - 0 pts
Swansea A - 0 pts
Burnley H - 3 pts
Man Utd H - 0 pts
Aston Villa A - 1 pt
Sunderland H - 3 pts
West Ham A - 0 pts
Tottenham H - 1 pt

13 pts putting us on 41 pts overall, enough to stay up. That's assuming that we're carry on as awful as we have been.

It would really take something spectacularly bad for us to go down.

The way we are playing we could get as few as 7 points for the rest of the season. In my gloomiest moments I keep thinking we'll get 3.

Look at this table

yes but they have lost their wonderful Spanish kid since then and Ireland yesterday. Injuries starting to rack up at stoke

Good point mate, however, they play to a system at stoke and at home they don't lose many games. You have to be realistic, this everton side does not have the fight at the minute that gives supporters the belief that we can still however bad we're playing grind out a draw at a place like Stoke.

Just imagine...in a year's time poor Chico is having to write a match preview for us against Rotherham as we wonder whether we can take a point off them. How many of our players have relegation-release clauses in their contracts? It's like being in a bad marriage, suffering every day, watching it all go to hell and powerless to do anything about it. Stay brave, my comrades, this could be grim.

Agreed jags and stones are not the greatest headers of the ball crouch will come on second half so we need to stop crosses coming in.

I just cant get my head around this season, if someone had of told me this time last year that we'd seriously be contemplating relegation I would have said they were mad.

True mate, that's an issue for the stoke game. The biggest factor in that game is they will be more drilled and organised than Everton .. They will see us their for the taking on recent form and so they should. It's not nice but a rigid set up to combat stoke on Wedensday would be a good way of getting something out this game. Look at Liverpool, it didn't work up till Christmas and BR changed the formation for a few games .. If I remember over Christmas they scraped draw against arsenal and a win against Burnley .. Draw with Leicester and pushed on from there. Wouldn't mind Martinez adapting something similar over the next two league games in order to get points on board.

I admire and understand your pragmatism...but in professional sport it is always best to eliminate uncertainty as soon as possible.
oh don't get me wrong I'd much prefer us to be aloth higher in the table. Just not stressing over relegation is all

Palace and west brom have gone above us this weekend why can't some of the others?
Leicester won't catch us but we are in a fight with the others
can't see burnley or villa either. Burnley's next 5 games are against RS, City, Soton, Spurs, Arsenal. Villa's run in isn't as difficult but they're in even worse form then we are, they've lost 7 straight. I totally agree we've been crap this season, just for me there are teams who have been even more crap. This is a failure of a season unless we somehow manage to win EL which would average out the awful league form. 2 wins in 15 is atrocious and we should be better than that. Just because I can't see us going down doesn't mean I think things are okay.
