I just can't understand why he hasn't just tried starting two natural wide players at any time this season. Seeing as not doing that hasn't worked at all on countless occasions.

after today im convinced everton will never win the league again unless the fa adopt an american stance and introduce a draft system.

What a depressing season, I don't know what to think. I can't change my stance from no to yes based on getting beat by Arsenal at the Emirates but I am becoming more and more concerned about where our next win is coming from in the league.

This season is a train wreck and has been a shambles since the day they walked back after the summer. Literally have the exact same team as last season apart from Besic/Gerry and the brand of football is polar opposite, what has happened.

The most stubborn man EVER,and he will not change his philosophy ,I think we will stay up,but after that ?

That is a worry.
I remember how wigan got relegated without a fight.

I don't think that you do!

Saturday; Manchester City 0 Wigan 1 - Wigan beat Manchester City to win FA Cup

Tuesday; Arsenal 4 Wigan 1 - Wigan lost away to Arsenal and were relegated

You can't say that Wigan had no fight.

You can say that Arsenal had a bigger and better squad and the chance to rest over the weekend.

You can also say that Manchester City had an annual wage bill of £233 million and Arsenal an annual wage bill of £154 million compared to Wigan's annual wage bill of £44 million.

They didn't get relegated because they lost to Arsenal away. They got relegated because they were absolute garbage all season and their defending was a joke.

Wigan gave up and believe it or not steve bruce did a better job there than martinez with less money.

Bruce spent less than a million net but 27 million gross. In total, transfers and wages, he spent 81.15 million or 40.6 million a season. They were one of the five lowest spenders in the league in both seasons and never finished in the bottom 6 in his time there.

Martinez spent 154.6 million on wages and made 11.65 million in the market (though he spent 32.1 million gross) so 142. 95 million in total or 35.8 million a season. They were the third lowest spenders in every single one of his seasons (normally they had a slightly bigger wage bill than the bottom 3 but funded it by a negative net spend).

Shut it.
