Martinez Out?

If you were a kopite who was put in charge of everton with the sole purpose of destroying the team and getting them relegated (which would of been very hard to do) then you would pretty much of mirrored what RM has done this season.

From team selections, thru to tactics and subs. His control of team affairs this season has been nothing short of criminal.

He's put players back a step in there careers players like Coleman, barkley, baines, McCarthy. He even managed to ruin Gareth Barry and Samuel Ettoo ffs!!

Ah well Naismith's had a productive season tho!

I want him gone tomorrow tbh. I Hate the style of football more than Moyes on a bad day! It's like watching the Wigan cup defeat week in week out!

There's still so long to go in the Europa. Given the mentality of our players and the way we're playing I just can't see us winning it.

Anything's possible. Liverpool got 59 league points and won the champions league in 2005. It's not like we've spawned our way to this point already. We're probably top scorers in the competition, or at least close to. We've spanked arguably the best side still in it too. Goodison might be a factor from now on as well.

It'd take a huge amount of luck,which admittedly we don't get in European competition, but you can't rule us out yet.

That's the thing BK should think about.

If we play like this, he will surely be gone by Christmas. What make people think we will be back to the winning way given how boring this team is this season. It's like our tactics got found out. The worst thing is Martinez sees no problem in it.

Two sides to it though, we could end up with good players like Besic but crap ones who are not good enough and have a 3 or 4 year contract IMO like McG. Very difficult this is.

No amount of terrible performances in the league seem to have stopped us bossing the Europa thus far, though. Yes, it's been 20 years, but it's been 2 for Martinez. I prefer to look at it that way!

Well I didn't Dave. I thought we'd struck it very lucky finding a manager to come in and replace moyes and actually seem to improve us!! I was full of praise and felt we could be lucky to hold onto him if Barca came lurking.

He took Moyes team, added his own twist to it but kept it sensible and left a lot intact.

He's changed it a lot this season to suit himself. Suppose that was inviteable to happen. But it's poor, doesn't work and has lead us close to relegation. Even worse he won't change! Just as he wouldn't change with Wigan!

I'm not gonna even get into his team selections and subs!

Hmmm I wonder if you'd feel the same if we're playing in the championship next season? Lose all our better players? Most likely shelve ANY plans for a new stadium.

I'm sure some of these big teams that have gone down didn't believe it could happen. Or worse didn't believe they wouldn't come back up.
