Perhaps someone could start another thread on `Martinez out` so i could post on that one, and not on this `Martinez out ` thread, foolish me thinking I could post my thoughts and opinions about wanting ` Martinez out` on the `Martinez out` thread!

Stick with it Eddy lad, dont bend or break for no-one.

I bleed blue mate! Happy to discuss and debate all things Everton in the pub! Cant sit back and watch this slide happen with the wrong man at the helm, change needed in Summer! Funnily enough I agree with Dave about Kenwright though we need investment, we need a stadium, we need to win our next two games! COYB

Your figures are out. Its lower than that.

You expect two fifth place finishes and record PL seasons off something like £8M per season?

Go into a quiet place and think that one through again.

i expected a consistent improvement on when we spent £1.5m a season

my biggest (general) concern is that if we cant play in europe, what's the point in bothering apart from PL prize money? you do well, you qualify for europe, you do badly because you play in europe and the cycle repeats itself. Even cup wins put you in europe. How do you deal with that? If you say get european experience it doesn't work because the players will want to leave when you end up in the "doing badly" part of the cycle.

So what's the solution? Its a really tough one

Look at thr money in the game from those days though. Even since three seasons ago so called smaller clubs are spending kings ransoms on buying players.

In any case, last season we saw improvement didn't we?

Dont feel daft Dave its beneath you! we have to agree to disagree! You like Bob, I think he has `psychological disorders` that prevent him seeing what 30,000 spectators and three sky tv pundits can see, personally I put it down to the assymetric shapes he has encountered

yes and those clubs subsequently gave us silly money for players we didn't want, it works both ways.

An improvement of 1 place followed by a drop of around 7 places leaves him below the curve in that regard.

No. My figures are right. £20m as below; not to mention the loan fees paid Lukaku, Del, Atsu and Barry which must come to a good few million.
And Moyes consistently got top 7 finishes without ever having a pre season when he blew £36m on his squad

Now go and cry and make up more lies

Well for a start McGeady cost us half a million, and we've only committed to paying £24m to Lukaku at the moment for it to reach £28m he'd have to be a success and hit big targets.
