I think we should re-assess after our next two away games. I have been watching Everton for over 30 years, we are not some sort of `experiment` for Martinez to hone his skills with. I really think he is deluded to be honest, we need wins, it is that simple. For me yesterday was a show of things to come. Dropping Robles for Howard was a shocker, poor management, Lukaku was not used properly, buck stops with Martinez.

Like many others I was a Martinez fan, but the wheels fell off towards the end of last season, I think he is too nice a person to address these young, overpaid, egotistical players. I think best way forward is try to get the 40 points, end of the season `mutual consent`. If we keep him I fear next season, players leaving, replaced with Martinez signings truely frighteneing.

Say we won the EL or just got to the final or semi final, would you still want rid?

yet another pointless knee jerk reaction to not getting three point which the universe mystically owes us for turning up.

It took years for ManU, Liverpool, City, Chelsea etc to get to the point when they don't drop points the weekend after away European matches, some of them still struggle at times.

I might be fickle, but I don't want to settle for mediocrity. What we're headed for at the moment is exactly that, as confirmed by being in a "safe" 12th place, something that the likes of Hull and West Brom should be happy with

How is accepting that this season is a poor one in comparison with the blistering one we had last season 'settling for mediocrity'?

Are you being asked to put up with this forever? No. You're being asked to place everything in context and give support to a manager and team going through the doldrums...or do you only support them when things are going well?

But there's been far more good than bad, that's the reason people don't want him sacked.

Calling people fickle for being worried is not right. Football is a results based business, when things are good we sing the manager praises, when things are bad we ask questions, that to me is normal. Of course if we have a pop at the top four next year we will all be singing his praises, we are not going to call for his head are we ?

Well we'll see then, we'll see what sort of players he brings in and see if they improve us next season. I'd be more than happy to hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong about him. If I see Tom Cleverley walk through the doors of Finch Farm after Mirallas leaves, I'll be even less convinced, however

Everyone wets their knickers when a player or manager shows he isn't loyal to us yet if the same player or manager was to have a bad spell "its get rid he's [Poor language removed]" look back at some of the dodgy teams we have had since the 80's this current squad is quality and the manager needs time to get it right imo you impatient set of booing bastards x

I voted no but I am worried and disappointed about this season. My patience is dwindling but I am prepared to give him longer. If the summer pre-season is as disastrous as last years and we are playing just as badly, I'll be wanting him gone.

For all his baffling selections, tactics and subs this year, the players have shot themselves in the foot time and time again, you can't blame the manager for all the defensive errors and errors leading to goals. As a collective unit the Team has underperformed.

WTF?!

Are you really that upset over a draw to Leicester?

FFS mate, go and have a walk or something.

Im honestly not that upset, im a little concerned but i dont believe we have a god given right to win every game, so no im fine Davek ;)

What i find funny is you seek out people on here for being worried and call them fickle. You do not sing Martinez praises for having us in a relegation scrap do you ?
