Darron Gibson

Most of his passes were forwards to a play that was right infront of him, or to a player at his side. None of the passes were defence splitting or particularly useful they were just... passes.

Have to disagree, the game was stretched already which made it easier for people to find space, that was more to do with the pace of Lennon and atsu than it was Gibson.

Besic could have done the same, probably better with how open the game was.
Sorry lid, you're wrong this time, our shape changed when he came on for the better and his passing was more mor direct and incisive than the constant side to side slow build up we were playing.

It's ok for to be wrong at times you know. Xx

I've already been wrong and accepted it when I was xxxxx just I'm not on gibson

Met Gibbo at Manchester airport, he made a massive fuss about his watch while going through security. Thought he was an idiot.
That said, my Casio had a safe journey.

Surprised that anyone still chases the Unicorn that is Darron Gibson being any use. Sure, when fit he is a very tidy, effective and threatening player; the problem is he is utterly incapable of staying fit. Since he joined us, he's missed more than 60% of the senior fixtures across all competitions - that's just no use to us.

We can't realistically rely on him to make more than a dozen appearances in a season, so he has to go. Hopefully he has a run of games now ( in his case that would be four, but let's not start dreaming quite yet ) to put him in the shop window, but he is SO gone in the summer. Any bid over £2m and he can hobble off.

Let's give him a chance before writing him off.

We've badly missed his incisive passing.

Hopefully this time he has finally put the injuries behind him. *

*until he breaks down again

Gave us more than Besic did going forward and showed that the McCarthy/Besic combination is nowhere near constructive enough against a defensive team.

Weird isn't it?

I thought he was a bit crap. But then I missed the first hald where Besic wasn't great so I read.

Gibson will be out for about 6 weeks now anyway.

Oh Darron, why dost thou tease us so?

Superb when he came on, looked fitter than we've seen him in ages and THEM THROUGH BALLS. He's the only centre mid we have who can do what he does, as well as he does it. Just pray he stays fit. It's almost as if he only gets fit to popcorn us.
