By that logic, I should still be crying and shaking with support for Walter Smith. After all, I should have been supporting him no matter what and been against him being sacked no matter what he did or whatever the circumstances were, right?

Actually, I should still be gutted Mike Walker is no longer here. That guy deserved proper support.

And so on.

Did walter take us to Europe and destroy teams unbeaten un europe for years???? Or beating teams 2-0 away that are pushing the best club side in europe for title??

Who would people want if we got rid of martinez, i still have faith he will get it right i think we have suffered with poor transfer windows and several players playing badly or injured. He has to go out in the summer and get more creative players wingers, attaking midfielder center back and maybe another forward.
I'm prepared to give him the summer window but if he doesn't buy the players to give us back our shape then I'm afraid I wouldn't be fussed if we got rid of him before January if we start poorly.

As for managers to bring in. Unfortunately I think Spurs and Liverpool have better managers than the ones that are available and more money plus there's still Utd, Arsenal, City and Chelsea. So I don't know.

Quite frankly given those 6 teams above us and Southampton we will find it very hard to get into Europe over the next 5 years never mind Champions League so I would be pleased with progress on the stadium front and mid-table stability over that time.

Is Roberto the man to take us forward. I'm not sure. There's only so many times he can play both Naismith and Barkley before I loose faith. If he doesn't rate Ross over Naismith then drop Ross because playing Naismith with Barkley isn't helping anyone. He's not giving Barkley a chance to find a grove and Naismith plays better in the center not on the wing.

That's not a knee jerk Davek. It's the same every game when played against these kinds of teams and our home form is just shocking.

Is there cause for concern? Certainly.

But it's not like we weren't completely boss last season for the most part under the man.

Now that the dust has settled: Played in a EL tie away three days ago; created more than enough chances to win today against a team set up to frustrate us...regardless of the situation of Leicester (who've beaten a few decent teams away) we've done not too bad here under the circumstances.

I do think the EL stuff has been sapping our energy to compete and the pace of our passing. Looks like we wont have that to worry about next season and I reckon we'll be very decent again next season because of it.

Learning curve for Roberto and the fans.

No mate, but I still support Walter anyway, because I'm a proper Blue and to criticise an Everton manager no matter what the circumstances is blasphemy.

Thats the spirit , have a 50% off jarg trackies voucher for the townie, for your troubles.

I don't care too much which one he plays because they have both been hit and miss this season, but only one should be on the field at a time

So you agree that if those that hadn't happened, criticising a manager is acceptable?

So it's not if you criticise a manager at all you're not a proper fan, it's if you criticise a manager without proper cause?

I think everyone agress with that they just disagree with what is proper cause.

But keep on acting superior and calling other blues names cos they don't agree with you. I wish I was as big a blue as you.

I didn't know potatoes could have nightmares, but this one is clearly havin a mare

1 - Why did you just call me a potato?

2 - I couldn't give a toss about last season - it's now 2015. Football is a "what have you done lately" deal. Not "last week", certainly, as that is far too short term-ist thinking, but for me seeing six months of utter turd is more important than something that happened 18 months prior. Similarly, if he improves and does well over the next six months, I won't be judging him based on the period we're in now.

People and job performances change, you see. But you judge performance on the here and now. Peter Molyneux made Dungeon Keeper in the 90s - he hasn't made a good game since really, so he isn't judged on Dungeon Keeper.

Guy is deluded, Wigan is his level he has shown he's inept at buying players and organizing a defense, the guy would be managing in League 1 if he didn't fluke an FA Cup win against all odds.

How many years has he shown everyone what he is, one decent season with and a fluke cup win doesn't erase 7 years or relegation battles and horrible defending.

Guess what if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's a [Poor language removed] duck.

You don't understand "support" or being a blue, do you !?!

Fans like you make me ashamed at times, we call the rs for their fans, yet we have poor poor fans like you that shout the loudest when we don't get the result you want.

What I know, is that if your striker misses 4 or 5 great chances you wont won games....

I support us as much as the next person (probably more considering I dont agree in booing the players during a game)

I make you ashamed because I call a spade a spade and point out the flaws in our manager which are costing us matches? If you want to wear blue tinted glasses and blindly defend a bad manager then you can but please know that does not make you 'a bigger or better fan' than someone who wants to discuss the problems facing his club.
