Ah, good. Then we won't have to face another competitive team in the PL with a shipload of money while we have none.
On the other hand.. he only denies buying 60% of a leading PL team... perhaps he bough 61%!
There's no denying that this is up on the Gulfnews site, but it does seem a little odd that their source for the quote hasn't got it up on their own website? Having said that, there are no new sport stories on the WAM site from today at all, so maybe they announced it on tv and haven't updated the website yet.
Whatever the truth of the matter, and let's face it, the chances of it being us were slim anyway, I still believe we will get some investment in the not too distant future, although it may well be after the DK decision.
