One of my first games this mate,only know because in my minds eye I can still see a blue jumping over the wall and running towards the Saint and doing the monkey gestures,to say the Saint wasn't happy was an understatement,I could have only been about six at the time,dunno whether there are any blues who were at this game and can substantiate that this wasn't a dream in old Dario's mind

This Blue remembers it through the mists of time!!! He was genuinely hated and since blues had run on prior to Derby matches to give him monkey nuts your memory was par for the course.!!!

Can remember St John being given bananas and a Kopite would always give West a handbag.

!!!!!!!!!! Not heard him in years since he was teamed up with Greavsie. But will say that RS of that era are generally more respectful towards rivalry with Everton than the odious Houghton, Aldo, Thompson generation

Yes. I really had nothing against them until that era.

Nightmare game that. Long delays on the M6 so many not getting in until well after KO. Then we concede this last minute winner.
