.....couple of observations from me ahead of setting off for work;

I thought the gamesmanship displayed by Chelsea players in getting Barry dismissed was shameful. It was an innocuous tackle yet seasoned internationals ran 20 yards to get a fellow professional sent off.

Compare the Barry foul with the series of offences committed by Lucas on a yellow at Chelsea a week or so ago. The one that led to the Chelsea winner was cynical yet not 2nd yellow. Absolute example of how referee's treat them differently. The club should ask why.

Spot on. I don't think we are far off. Lukaku would have buried that last year. Just not going our way this season. We need 2 or 3 quality signings in the off season to replace our average performers

Costa is fair game, McCarthy isn't, according to you. Naismith was shoulder right? He made a swinging motion towards the ball, but that's irrelevant, okay, I get it. It's all the same for all teams, so why even bring it up right?

I think there's an awful lot we can take from that game. For the most part, we defended superbly and if Lukaku had more composure, we could have scored twice.

The way the Chelsea players cried and whinged to the referee must be one of the most embarrassing sights in football - their behaviour for the Barry red card was nothing less than disgraceful.

Wouldn't expect any different from that type of club though.

Why bring Howard's Tourettes into a discussion?

Have a look at the range of symptoms that go with the disorder (easy enough to google) and any questions anyone might have about his "interesting" or "eccentric" goalkeeping are answered.

I agree, he should be ashamed. Luckily there are plenty of us who can use wit, rather than insults to make a point.

Ironically, I live in Welling, South London/Kent, and the BNP's HQ used to be a stones throw away from my house. I used to sit on my sofa and throw stones at it.
