Stones and Robles in the team means we have turned losses into draws. Three clean sheets in a row now. People are saying Besic and McCarthy but they were part of a midfield that was dominated by Liverpool and didn't create anything of note all game. I don't see how they can get it. I know its Martinez's fault for playing three holding mids but you just cant give motm to a midfielder after that performance. Has to be Stones for me.

Jagielka, closely followed by Naismith. Besic had one of his better games but petulance and a non-stop desire to turn into trouble and pass backwards means he can't be considered for MOTM by me.

Barry was absolutely awful. I usually defend him but it was like he was trying to concede at various points. Him and Oviedo were a mess throughout, and Mirallas may as well have stayed at home.

Naismith you still watching the first 3 games of the season ...the bloke works hard but that's it

Who are the dry wits voting for Alcaraz? You kids, with your tomfoolery.

Stones looked good, as did Coleman. Also impressed with McCarthy and Besic. But Naismith gets the vote, for providing the leadership on the field alongside running his wee translucent nuts off. If the more talented players on our team put in his level of effort, we'd be threatening the top four.

Stones for me. Comfortable and in the right place and the right time.
Besic for 70 mins but as he has done this season his energy levels dip and a great rate the longer he is on the pitch but what a player we have in him.
That's because he's not used to playing 90 minutes as the clown* always subs him instead of Barry.

*I'm still onside with Martinez but some decisions defy belief. I'm sure you get that with all managers but if you win you tend not to notice them as much.

Most positive performance from Seamus in a long time. The Coleman of last season would have buried that chance. Good to see him trying to take players on again.

How on earth did they give Kev a 7 let alone put him higher than Jags/Stones/McCarthy/Besic? Can't think of a single thing he did all match tbh, either good or bad

Much as it pains me to abandon Mume, I've gone for Stones.

McCarthy misses out because he's been away for that long I can only assume he was always that boss and therefore it's business as usual.
