Alcaraz. Thought he was grade A quality when he came on. Definitely proved the difference.

Stones and Robles in the team means we have turned losses into draws. Three clean sheets in a row now. People are saying Besic and McCarthy but they were part of a midfield that was dominated by Liverpool and didn't create anything of note all game. I don't see how they can get it. I know its Martinez's fault for playing three holding mids but you just cant give motm to a midfielder after that performance. Has to be Stones for me.
Or you can look at the individual performance you know since it is the MOM award

Has to be McCarthy, surely? God we missed him.

.......rizzla paper between his and Stones but I went for the latter. It can't be a coincidence that we look much better defensively since his return. Agree, though, that it's fantastic to have MCCarthy back. Things are looking a bit better just in time for return to Europa.

Think Ibe should go and pour a glass of his MOM champers for Martinez, playing a fullback who is not a regular starter and then playing no defensive cover in front of him = suicide. no disrespect to Brian he did a sound job in a 1 on 1 situation

Stones. I want Stones, Coleman, Besic, Barkley (throw Olviedo and McCarthy in as well if you like) in the line up together as much as possible going forward. Hope they develop some chemistry and enjoy playing for Everton so much that they think twice when the big money comes up from the south. And it will. Then the lads can develop together and Everton may have something. Too hopeful I suppose.
