I imagine I'm going to get and probably deserve serious negging for what i'm about to say, but I'll share it anyway. While I recognize that the derby is a perfect occasion to unveil the Hillsborough memorial and while I am really proud of the cloud's response to the tragedy, I can't help wishing that this wasn't happening before this game. I want to atmosphere to be absolutely toxic--a real bear pit, lots of drunk passionate Evertonians--and this is just going to make that much harder to achieve. There I said it.

It's comments like this that make us look bitter.

Rodgers gives me hope that we can win the league next season. He took them from 7th to 1st, so I think Bobby could take us from 5th to 1st.

Yep. It would have been a lot more appropriate to have a separate ceremony for such an important thing.

A Sky jizz fest over Gerrard's last derby* was always to be expected. But the scale of this one is truly epic. I suspect there is a not a dry biscuit to be found at Sky HQ.

Not surprised one bit by that Sky ad, they have always been the darlings of the media, we're plucky little Everton.

The media may love them, but for everyone else they're an embarrassing laughing stock. I live in Leeds, and I'm yet to speak to a non 'pool fan up North that has a good word to say about them, or their so called 'fans'. Not a single neutral wants them to beat us at the weekend,

It would truly be an unbelievable end Hibbert comes on for Coleman (who had to a knock) in the 89th minute at 0-0,corner comes in and Hibbert hits it like Jags did,but from the right flies into the top corner.I know it won't happen but we can dream.
