Are we back to naismith bashing? Just want to check. Where are we with robles, i find it hard to keep up.

A hard worker and honest player who can score. But I will stick with my opinion that we will never never make the champions league with Steven Naismith in our starting 11. He more a top 8 type of player

Read again, mate. It's the simple stuff he fluffs. Seriously the amount of passes he sells short or wide of a player during every game is crazy. Always finds a way to make up for it though.

Wasn't his best game yesterday, but still played two inch-perfect first time through balls.

Also gave a few poor passes away.

Of course, the poor passes have been the focus of attention on this board. Funny how it works the opposite way for other players.

the way the thinking goes on other threads is rom scored and was allowed play absolutely gash for the rest of the game because he did his job in the 2nd minute, following this line of thinking Naisy could have put his deckchair up after minute 2 when he made a great run and perfect ball which made the goal.

Your not allowed to say players have played badly, its simply scapegoating and is totally unacceptable.

On a personal note I cant wait for Osman to return and stink the place out for 85minutes each week.

it didnt go to lukaku it went straight to the keeper. if the keeper was invisible and not there it would of went a yard in front of lukaku. I dont mind Naismith as a squad player but hus performances since christmas especially have been dreadful. Like i said his workrate bails him out if being critisized. wereas barkley who hasnt lost the ball no were near as much as naismith is slagged off (rightly so) because his work rate is shocking

It's hard to dislike Naismith, but I'd hoped Everton had moved on from his type of no.10 when Cahill left.

Ideally Martinez's scouts will be scouring Europe to find the next Modric/Eriksen before Tottenham do this summer.

Modic and Eriksen were well known before they moved to Spurs. I think we just do not have the money to afford them so we didn't even try to get them.
