Listening to the presser and hearing Koné is the replacement for Eto'o and that with two strikers we're strong in that department is seriously depressing. I know we usually play with one forward but at the minute we have a young talent who isn't getting any service and an injury prone almost 30-year old who's never been prolific.

Am I okay to get a little more depressed every day? I don't even care if we sign anyone any more as long as I hear Roberto at least say "we need some numbers" and not just dribble off the same "phenomenal" positive crap he usually does. Bet his wife is sick to death of him being a positive pushover at home.

Seems a strange one that story, he is currently on loan Sau Paulo so that means they will have to cancel the loan, and then a new loan to us?? Can that be done???

It should be there but from many many years of experience deep down i know theres nothing being made available to the manager and hes having to use the old 'we go with what we got' line

I can see where Martinez is coming from (in the press conference) we are out of the FA cup now, so only have the League and Europa to focus on and in the league he was using Eto'o as a "number 10" to use his words and Eto'o was behind Naismith and Barkley in that position.

I think it does leave us light up front, with only Kone and Lukaku as proper strikers and I think as fans we have been here before where we have sold a third choice forward in the window and then had two strikers injured, but it is difficult to get someone to come in, knowing they will be third choice, so I can only see a loan (like the Jese Rodriguez Story).

Ideally I think we need to sign someone for the Left Wing, who can also play in the centre of a front 3. We were linked with Andre Ayew from Marsaille before the window opened. His contract is up in the summer, so we may be able to get him cheap now
