I do miss this man but its another thing saying I wish him back. Definitely want to see him back in the future though as a coach/coaching role , he is a great asset to the club.

It was Cahill who asked to leave, he wanted to carry on playing for Aus and the stresses of playing in the premier league would have left him with a shorter Aus career. He's effectivly in semi-retirement in the US.

As for the Naismith comparison, it's spot on. Limited footballing abilities masked by a never say day attitude and a few goals here and there. Don't get me wrong, we miss Naismith when he's not playing as well as he can, just like we missed Cahill when he was out of the side, but don't paint either of them as wonderful players because they give 100%.
