We both know that if WBA tried to get anything out of that game, they would have created more space for us to win that game. Away from home against an opposition who like yo attack, they did absolutely the right thing.

Try to 'play football' and almost certainly lose, or defend, which is still playing football by the way, and get the draw they needed.

If it works against us for teams below of, of course they are going to do it. The onus was on us to break it and we didn't have the quality. So fair play to them.

So, you'd be happy if we play like that at Palace and Chelsea bearing in mind we're in the same position as WBA? Simple question.

I wouldn't be happy if we played that as the norm, as Pulis tends to do, no. But I'm not particularly happy with how we're playing now. In my opinion, there would be nothing wrong setting up defensively against Chelsea and playing in the counter attack. We ain't gunna win otherwise.

Fair enough, but my point was they didn't even try to counter attack....not even once, and when you consider our goals against record you've got to ask why teams camp behind the ball instead of coming out for some cheap pickings.

Yeah I agree with that. I think because Pulis has been appointed solely to keep them in the league, he will play these kind of games incredibly cautiously and be happy with a point away to us. He obviously also doesn't see us as being relegation rivals, they are they games you would expect him to try to win.

Glad to see the No is over 60%
Bobby didn't do himself any favours by not showing a little spine in the post match interview

I bet he's livid behind closed doors which is fine but instead of being worried about a public spray rattling the squad more and the press having a field day perhaps it's what the team (Mirallas) needed

Still fuming at Mirallas this morning.

Played well? As in 'the East German state played well putting up the Berlin Wall'?

The Soviets used the steamroller tactic Dave. Horrendous mass casualties but it was effective and got them results.

Me thinks the plotters want the same for Everton.

Skill and guile out the window.... ?
