His last game will be the Derby. It won't be an option when the fans are as angry as they will be (I'll be expecting it!)

One way or the other, could be a really pivotal game.

Let's assume that Kenwright has no intention of junking the manager that he gave an extended contract to just last summer. If Martinez is ditched before the end of the season, it will most likely be as a result of fan power.

And if the team crashes and burns against Palace and the RS, the hurt and the anger will be intense, and I doubt that Martinez will have too many friends. It's not hard to imagine : the media will be full of talk of Everton as a 'crisis club' and will quickly latch on to anything that looks like a protest campaign. A lot could happen in a short time.

I have said all I want to say on this subject, my views are clear.

Have been over in the Alehouse putting some music on the listening thread to relieve my depression.

He will not be sacked. Kenwright will stay loyal, and rightly so.

We are in a difficult place right now, and it's gone on longer than expected, but we need to get behind Roberto and the team and come out of it Everton-style.

I wouldn't boo him last night for that shocking decision to substitute Besic, but inside I was totally subdued with it. It was nonsensical beyond belief. Besic was the best player on the pitch by a country mile....others were pale in comparison like Barkley, Naismith and Barry. I was not complimentary to my mate about Roberto, but I still think he's the right man However, you couldn't boo him for the effort and the result....West Brom came to camp in their own half and not come out. We spoke about it in the car on the way to the game and we knew it would be really difficult to breach them. If that's how football is going ( and the evidence this season suggests it is) then football will kill itself. People will not pay to watch 11 behind the ball for 90 mins.

I don't think that's the way football is going. Any sensible team in WBA's position would have done the same thing. Not attractive on the eye but took disciplined defending.

Well everyone has been pissed off as he keeps taking besic off and keeping other players on who have been crap ! Besic has been good last few games ! At the moment we are so miss, nothing is flowing ! Can't pass, can't defend, can't create chances ! I can't remember the last time we were this bad consistently ! Under Moyes we would have one bad game and turn it around next game, remember when we got stuffed by wigan in the cup, everyone was pissed off, next game we beat city !! At the moment I can't see us turning things around but hope I'm wrong

He'll drop besic ! Play Barkley wide ! We have no wingers ! Atsu, McGeady, alcrataz all [Poor language removed] signings ! Why not play Kone and Lukaku upfront together ! We got to try other things, his usual team setup is [Poor language removed] and predictable now ! Lpool have improved as they've sort of stumbled into playing can, Sakho, skrtel at the back, we have to try things, Martinez ain't done anything different

Plotters, fans wanting agricultural football, defensive managers should be banned, Mirallas should be hung drawn and quartered, what a farcical thread. Glad I missed it today,

Absolutely convinced its about fan v fan and being right on the internet above all else for some people.

Of course it is, stop observing it and start laying into someone.

As opposed to a race to the bottom? Thats what the plotters want. Agricultural football.

Mate, if you want to pay to watch teams absolutely stifle the life out of a game then that's your shout....I've seen it too many teams this season. Last nights opposition were totally disinterested in football...they had a forward ( not Vic !!!) who is apparently worth £25M and he didn't go beyond the halfway line....even the most defensive of teams will make at least one counter attack to try and snatch a 1-0. Their keeper was time wasting after 3 minutes.

We are in the same position as West Brom....what will you do if Martinez plays like that at Palace and Chelsea.

Football is dying a tortuous death with that level of negative play being served up.

I've been watching football since the 70's and they never killed games like that. Appalling.

We both know that if WBA tried to get anything out of that game, they would have created more space for us to win that game. Away from home against an opposition who like yo attack, they did absolutely the right thing.

Try to 'play football' and almost certainly lose, or defend, which is still playing football by the way, and get the draw they needed.

If it works against us for teams below of, of course they are going to do it. The onus was on us to break it and we didn't have the quality. So fair play to them.

And I would argue that our style can be as boring and negative as theirs.
