Far be it from me to spoil your fun in having a go at our opposition's manager, but I can't find too much that I disagree with in what he said.

"Whilst Everton are having a sticky patch at the moment, I'm not sure that is down to Roberto's philosophy," said Allardyce.

"It is about players going out and playing to the best of their abilities.

"Everton at the moment, because they have had the extra games with the Europa League, it has told.

"It is nothing to do with his belief and philosophy. They have found it difficult to cope with more injuries and more games."

As for the bit about flexibility, you wouldn't have to look for too long on this site to find plenty of people making similar comments about Martinez.

Having said all that, he's defo had more bungs than secondary school science technician.

Where you one of the fans that demanded he changed his style at the end of last season??? Being made to do something isn't classed as being flexible

I'm not really sure what your point is mate, but having finished the season with a record number of points I wasn't really clamoring for a change in style.

The points Allardyce has made - that Roberto has stuck with one style of play, that the players haven't always performed, that we've had to contend with injuries and extra games - well which of those aren't true?

It's not difficult to find things to have a go at fat Sam about, but these comments aren't really one of those things.

I'd bring Garbutt in for Baines, Oviedo for Barkley (play Naisy as the number 10 and Oviedo on the left wing) and McGeady swaps out for Mirallas.

So we'd look like

Joel
Coleman - Jags - Stones - Gatbutt
Besic - Barry
Mirallas - Naismith - Oviedo
Lukaku
Garbutt I thought played well against Newcastle yet we haven't seen him since, deserves a start. Oviedo did well in the first leg and I'd like to see him play a full 90 on the wing, see if he could make the spot his and Mirallas should come back in as he was only a sub on the weekend and been our best player since he's returned from injury.

We're not going to win both our away games at West Ham this season so I'd rather we lost this one and got the win in the League match.

Get in. Excellent.

If they play like they did against City, I'm good. Perfect depiction of the joy being Evertonian and all that means - sucking joy from a damp sponge, that is. Turn on the tap, Everton.

Chico is still better at sizing photos though. @KevMirallas defo showing promise, but might need a little work on your own after training to make all the photos the same size.

Have a feeling we'll go through here. I've taken the noose down from the rafters.
