To be honest, Besic, Barkley, Oviedo all are a little too attacking or combative. Barry is, for better or worse, our calmest Holding Player and when positioned correctly he has the ability to actually play some belting football for Everton, as he has done on many occasions. McCarthy is doubtful but when fit a better player in that role (and his role will be there or perhaps CB [as he was used for Wigan a few times] in the future).

This could be his defining game the way it is turning out.

His stubbornness and insistence in playing our most dynamic player in a position where he is completely wasted is going to push some over the edge.

Always backed him, think every fan has the right to question him now.
