We should play Lukaku and Kone. I mean play Arouna in the centre as he has great movement off the ball and let Lukaku run into that space our blonde create (he was doing that in a Hull game but there wasn't anybody to exploit it). We're struggling to create good chances for him and he is wasted when not in the box.

Robles
Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines
Besic Barkley
Lukaku Naismith Mirallas
Kone

That would be my pick. Perhaps too adventorous but we need a strong performance to restore confidence.

Attendance anyone?
Match hasn't been played yet mate.

Dreading this.
Best plan is to go to the game and leave all electronic devices at home so you can't read the fume / [swear word] on here. That's my plan anyway.

If we lose then, when I get home, I'm going into mod central and pulling the plug so people have to fume in the old-fashioned way, by punching walls and kicking the cat.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Garbutt-Baines combination again today. They could have something interesting together -- and they're the only two players who pass and move right now.

I know it wont happen but i would like to see one or two (no more than two) younger players thrown in.
One reason is to give us some sort of positives to consider after the game (ohh young browning played alright didnt he ?!)
Reason two is so we can give a few regulars a kick up the arse and show them there is no guarantees in starts at Everton.

Robles
Browning, jagielka, Distin, baines.
coleman barry barkley besic oviedo
kone, lukaku.

Manager: Alan Irvine.

Ah the old throw 12 players on the pitch and hope nobody notices tactic, I think the crowd would turn a blind eye tonight if it meant a win to be fair.
