I was there and Walter played a left back at right back and a right back at left back
We must have had 8/9000 there that day,I remember the spineless barstewards all running over to us as one giving it the clenched fist routine,20 minutes later we were three down and out of the cup:rant:(n)

Worst game I've ever been to. Was out in town the night before and got picked up by my mates dad at 6am with a rotten hangover. Got drunk again and spewed up all evening.
Dunno though I was at York and Shrewsbury,in fact there's been so many it's hard to nail down which is the worst

The plus side for the Boro game was it did end the nightmare that was Walters reign

Was Clarke the on who didn't have a left or right foot?!
He was a Southport lad,I remember being at Villa for a midweek game may even have been his debut, this lad by us was giving Clarke loads all night, wouldn't shut up,got to about ten minutes to go and this woman in front goes,"excuse me thats my son you're talking about"fella went crimson and goes"very sorry luv"lol
