We need to take that approach but with the manager, if he is going to continue to refuse to change the way we play rather than just changing the formation which will do nothing if we still only pass sideways and backwards with no urgency then he has to go.

Van Gaal as the start of the season wanted 3 at the back it didnt work his football didnt quite suit the english game, he changed things went back to what Utd knew then adapted it towards his preferred style and formation, cant see martinez doing that. The base was there last year instead hes torn the whole thing up and said "its my way now and we will play it throughout"

Good point. Pulis has never got a team relegated. Martinez looks like he might be going for his second in three seasons.

No. I am complaining about being sold a Ferrari and it turns out to be a Citroen 2CV. Classy looking, but going nowhere fast.

That was Luke O'Farrell's line from ESPN. I normally like him but that was honestly one of the worst metaphors I've ever read anyone use when describing Everton and Evertonians.
