Roberto Martinez discussion

Not now no. His era is gone, but the way it's portrayed in some quarters is laughable.

You'd think I was slagging the feller off.

Every Evertonian is grateful for the job Moyes did but we eventually stagnated under him, and thankfully we found a manager who has the vision, and based on last year, the tools to take us further than Moyes could.

We've had a wobble this year but he deserves the backing of the fans for this season at least, purely for the breath of fresh air he gave us last year.

I'm no longer wearing the mask. I think the new manager honeymoon period lasted a bit longer than usual with us last season, but that's gone now, and Martinez is once again overseeing a team that concedes the most goals in the league. Are people not concerned by Martinez' record for conceding goals as a manager?

He will need replacing sooner rather than later. And I am under the impression that sacked managers do not receive all their compensation in one go, in fact I think they continue receiving their weekly salaries until they find a new job.

So Moyes will have been receiving compensation from Manchester United in the form of a weekly salary, but that will have stopped once he started being paid by Real Sociedad. Moyes didn't receive 8 million pounds worth of compensation in a single lump of cash, and neither would Martinez if he was to be sacked by Everton.

Will he?

Even when half the first choice eleven is missing through injury & suspension?
This injury crisis has hit us hard, but Martinez's mantra of "we go out to win every game " is killing us. With half your 1st team missing, what's wrong with becoming dogged and hard to beat (dogs of war) instead of trying to beast every opponent home or away with a crap side.

The issue is I think some fans believe Martinez is the only manager who tries to play good football and if he was to leave we would go back to hoof ball. Fact is the majority of European managers play attractive style of football. I like bobby but I fear he's a one trick pony, Rodgers for the crap he gets on here atleast changes how the RS play and uses pace and width to good effect. Our slow play is depressing expecially when we have the likes of mirallas, lukaku, barkley, baines and coleman. It's criminal in all honesty
