You mentioned Kev, who else?

Pienaar in general. McGeady with his needless flicks and backheels. The two centre backs, dallying on the ball in their own half and playing at walking pace from the kick off. Besic often trying pointless flicks and tricks in the middle of the park

I thought we played ok in parts but we arent going for the full 90 or even large percentages of games. Our passing at times is pretty lacking and for a team built on passing thats worrying.

I still believe we have gears to go up and when that happens we will put a run together. A fully fit squad will do wonders with players vying for positions.

When it does click again someone is going to get a hiding.

You mean the header that hit both defender and goalkeeper?

Ok so he put a cross into an area that didnt have any defenders. That is one in how many games?

He is a player for where we are in the league now, nowhere near as good as he should be

He's not a regular starter though. I wish he was, he's a natural winger and gives us a proper shape. He comes in for criticism for the crime of not being Mirallas, but we look far more composed and balanced as a team with him in it than when we shoehorn Naismith or Barkley out right.

McGeady, passing the ball directly out of play, to the opposition, tripping up his own feet, and making one decent cross per game. He's nowhere near good enough to be starting games for a team supposedly looking to challenge for the top five or so.

See i saw him lose the ball quite a bit last night as well. He wasn't the only one so i wont hold that against him, but for a winger he needs to be contributing more and not getting outshone on the right by coleman. Coleman should only be overlapping when he creates the space, last night he was actively just bouncing off McGeady to get behind him which a better manager would spot that from a mile away. Every time he laid it off for him to run on to, it should be him making those runs.

PERHAPS if we started more free flowing attack like we should with 3 behind the striker and on the counter then he could prove to be better. He clearly has pace and he isnt bad at crossing / passing so he is a step up from Naimsith there. In a system where our winger seem to start standing still he cant make any impact i dont think.

He really isn't. It says a lot that even with our lack of wide options he struggles to get games. He's far too wasteful in possession, he tries a lot of fancy flicks and stepovers but they rarely come off.
