ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Before we mock to much, we should remember that a win tomorrow will only put us on the same points as them.

We can mock as much as we like. I doubt you'll find too many Evertonians proclaiming that this will be our year and that we are back where we belong at the start of every season and anytime we get remotely close to the top 4. Mocking has nothing to do with relative positions in the table. We mock their deluded sense of entitlement and utter reluctance in the face of overwhelming evidence that they are average at best and on the road to nowhere. Those that accept the situation as it is are convinced it is due to FA conspiracees or lack of investment.

You actually couldn't make it up.

I don't know which one is more ironic and ludicrous than the other.

After spending a kings ransom in the summer they're now out of the CL, no chance of the title, things looking grim for top 4, playing awful football and are meandering in mid-table.

Even if we were bottom of the league, my mocking of Liverpool at this present time would still be warranted.

A RAWKITE rebuttal to a poster who has the temerity to liken Rodgers to Hodgson:

Most of us wanted him gone because he acted a right [Poor language removed] and is a [Poor language removed] manager to boot. So don't even try comparing Hodgson with Rodgers.

So let me get this straight.... Rodgers doesn't come across as a right [Poor language removed] and isn't a [Poor language removed] manager?? Right-ho then - onwards & upwards... Long may he reign! ;)
