I've bumped the other thread about this last month.
They have expected this and done sweet FA to get more stock produced when they knew months ago this would happen.
Worth repeating

Coral bookmakers seem to have plenty to give out last week to new online customers.
I'd like to know how many other clubs in the PL era have run out of kits before Christmas
It happens every year to be honest, there's always a shortage of stock for any children's item because Father Christmas starts to get involved and buys everything up. That said, Elstone's relationship with the North Pole is clearly particularly poor at the moment. Hopefully he can liaise with their representatives in the coming days and work together to find a satisfactory resolution for all parties.
Er.
I am going to guess you are not in sales / marketing for a living Robert? As so many have stated on here, loads of people did not buy shirts last season simply due to the badge. You would expect higher than normal sales in that many have not purchased a shirt for 2 years, then take into account the success of last season, first time in Europe in 5 years, optimism around the club etc, why would you base this year's inventory simply on last year's sales? EVERYONE knew how unpopular the badge was, and anyone with any marketing sense would have foreseen a bump in sales....If nothing else, the record number of season ticket sales should have been a slap up side the head that we just may need a few more kits.... Either the bean counters at the club were allowed to make this decision, or if this was from marketing, those responsible should be sacked, plain and simpleThey ordered Kits based on last years sales figures. How could they know sales would go up 65%? Would people rather they wasted money stockpiling thousands upon thousand of kits hoping they sold out when usually we are left with a massive surplus of kits that never get sold and we loose money on them

Another 'brilliant' piece of business from Kitbag. Going to be a lot of disappointed Blues this Christmas.
From the official EFC site (posted at 23:45):

IMPORTANT REPLICA KIT UPDATE
Everton regret to inform supporters that due to high demand certain items of 2014/15 replica kit are close to selling out.
This season's home, away and third kits have all proven hugely popular with supporters, with total sales approximately 65 per cent up on those in 2013/14.
As a result, and with Christmas fast approaching, stocks of some sizes are now becoming increasingly limited.
Among the items on that list are home and third shorts and socks in all boys' sizes, plus away socks in all boys' sizes.
Home shirts in medium boys and third shirts in extra large boys are also in short supply.
A full list of limited stock items can be seen below:
Home shirts – men’s: 2XL & 3XL, women’s: 8 & 10, boys: medium
Home shorts – boys: all sizes
Home socks – boys: all sizes
Away shirts – infants: 6-7yrs, babies: 3-6mnths
Away shorts – men’s: S, boys: S, M & XL
Away socks – boys: all sizes
3rd kit shirts – men’s: 3XL, boys: XL
3rd kit shorts – men’s: S, L & XL, boys: all sizes
3rd kit socks – men’s: M, boys: all sizes
Everton and retail partner Kitbag would like to apologise to any supporter who may encounter disappointment when looking to purchase certain items.
Further stocks of 2014/15 home kit will be available in the new year, though fans are advised these will not be in store or online until February 2015.
Gonna get Robles on the back of my shirt for Christmas.
