As if. Read the words of scousertommy. He tells it like it is.

Come on Jamie, you know the score. we've always had the knockers in the media, there's just a few more of the, nowadays. If we want to read anything positive about LFC, we have to buy the ECHO. And even that's not guaranteed as it's printed in Oldham these days.
That's what I thought, it's terrible how they're constantly under-represented in the media.

But what argument would you use for a yellow? I don't think you can up/downgrade a card based on contact and/or injury caused. A two footed tackle doesn't get downgraded to a yellow if the recipient manages to get out the way. Similarly, a hand flung to the face is a red, irrespective of if it made contact.

Well i guess i just mean it's a less ludicrous stance than saying it's the worst decision he's ever seen.

People often excuse two footed tackles if the player 'gets the ball', so there is a similarity with that scenario

But according to some of you, Sterling is rubbish - so Liverpool are better without him, right?

In all seriousness, this is where Liverpool struggle compared to Man City, Chelsea and ourselves. They can't pay the HUGE wages that the big clubs do.

Sterling will look to join Man City or Chelsea eventually.
They could pay higher wages if they didn't spend hundreds of millions on crap players.

If Sterling has rejected the contract due to money then he's a greedy little turd. However, if there's more to it than that i.e. wanting to progress and win things as a player then I can't blame him for turning it down. Although I think he's overhyped to fark, I do recognise that there is a talent there that could be lethal with a few years of maturity as a person and player, and right now there's only one way Liverpool are heading and that's down, so it would make sense for him to fully consider his options and wish to move to a club that could match his potential.

Strangely every other pundit said that it was a stupid thing to do.

Also strangely, he said that it was a penalty in the City game whilst every other pundit thought it was a joke of a decision. In fact he went to great lengths with his 'Sky machine' to show that it was a 'definite' penalty.

Strange that! Very strange!

Not strange really when you consider how much on point he is regarding the cult. He clearly hates us.
I cannot understand how they get the airtime to express their views. Neville and Carragher are 2 players I didn't particularly like, but they are good to listen to. Club loyalties should be left off camera.

Haha I'd like to think I was a good guy but thanks for the heads up. It must have been pretty awful then.

It was just the little noises he made that werent so obvious, when Sterling picks the ball up on the wing he is like, go on son get at him, or gerrards free kick was like townsend had a orgasm, just little things that make me hate modern tv based on the huge influx of Kopites on there. Sod this im going back to radio only.

These days, whenever the Turds score, I fully expect my TV picture to suddenly be obscured by a milky white fluid accompanied by some primal scream.
