You wouldn't be suggesting that Mr.Lahey in not as new to this forum as he would have us believe, Doug......:dodgy:

How dare you sir! he's already said he's not and I see no reason for him to lie....

Why is he trying to upset Jamie, does he want to say it to his face.

My anger at Raheem Sterling contract story... Why this back page left me seething
  • Raheem Sterling is one shining light in the gloom surrounding Liverpool
  • I was sent into a rage upon reading the headline 'Kop fight to keep Sterling' in Sportsmail ahead of the showdown with West Brom

Mind, he said nothing about Stevie me going public.

Look at the pic of him with McCarthy..apparently Sterling is 'ghosting past McCarthy in trademark fashion'!!

McCarthy is clearly ahead of him ffs.

But according to some of you, Sterling is rubbish - so Liverpool are better without him, right?

In all seriousness, this is where Liverpool struggle compared to Man City, Chelsea and ourselves. They can't pay the HUGE wages that the big clubs do.

Sterling will look to join Man City or Chelsea eventually.

Not rubbish, mediocre and absurdly overrated. Liverpool are just currently so poor that even a player as limited as Sterling is probably their best player. I'd rather they kept him and paid him an 'acceptable £150k /week than sell him for silly money to some team blinded by the hype.

Thing is though, he won't go for silly money. Who would want him? He wants to go on a free because then a big team might take a chance on him. No way will they want to spend £25m+ and pay 'acceptable' wages.

Even worse, the picture of Sturridge celebrating, look at the absolute quilt in the red hoodie at the front doing the Sturridge dance. I absolutely abhor them as a species you know. I take more pleasure in them getting upset than anything else

The worst thing about Tyldesley is I'm pretty certain that he used to be an Everton supporter, but now even if he won't admit to it, he's unashamedly and blatantly a Manu fan.
Townsend and Chiles are both ar5seholes and how ITV keep using them is beyond me.

Tyldsley is a United fan, or was. OR was then wasnt and now is. Remember him being interviews by 90minutes magazine (RIP) and he said he was a big United fan back in the 70s, used to go away and stuff.

Not really, there was intent to harm the opponent which counts just as much as actual harm. Definite red.

Don't get me wrong, I think it was absolutely the correct decision. Just that you can make the argument for a a yellow imo.

Calling it the worst decision he's ever seen is absurd and makes me think he's mentally subnormal.

But what argument would you use for a yellow? I don't think you can up/downgrade a card based on contact and/or injury caused. A two footed tackle doesn't get downgraded to a yellow if the recipient manages to get out the way. Similarly, a hand flung to the face is a red, irrespective of if it made contact.

Surely you're not suggesting that certain sports journalists have some kind of bias towards RS players and make stuff up to make them look better than they are?

As if. Read the words of scousertommy. He tells it like it is.

Come on Jamie, you know the score. we've always had the knockers in the media, there's just a few more of the, nowadays. If we want to read anything positive about LFC, we have to buy the ECHO. And even that's not guaranteed as it's printed in Oldham these days.
