"Live" Threads

Hi all,

I've just made a change to the Everton forum which now allows posts to appear in a thread without any need to refresh.

So, as your viewing threads, posts will appear real time.

I figure it will be particularly useful on match days.

We're trialing it - feedback welcome here.

No as their post could lose context . Best their post lands when they intended.

but how will we see it if we are advancing through the thread with live posts ?

No difference to current method - clicking through you could equally miss.

I get scrolls when I am reading page#32 of a 40+ page thread? Fine if you want to skip through missing stuff out, otherwise bin it.
